Debate Over; We Win!

Proverbs 28:4 (KJV) ⁴ They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.

 

Our relationship with the Word of God determines our attitude towards those whose lifestyle is contrary to God’s Word. If we live obediently to the Bible, we will contend (struggle in opposition, to debate, to dispute) with those who live disobediently. The opposite of true if one is forsaking (to quit or abandon) the Word of God. The disobedient will praise those who are also disobedient.

This is especially true today in society. Just turn on the TV and see the disobedient praising the disobedient. There is a great divide in this nation, and do not be deceived, it is a spiritual divide. It is a divide over the teachings of the Word of God. It is a divide over God and His rule in our land. It is a divide over good and evil. My Bible loving friend, stand strong today. Debate with a loving heart those who propagate anti Biblical thinking and lifestyles. Don’t give up, for as the old gospel song says; I’ve read the end of the book and we win!
